Vidya Rajbhoj Pimprale is a practicing Landscape architect based in Bangalore with well over a decade and a half long experience. She has in-depth knowledge and experience of landscape design at various scales, ranging from Private residences, Townships, Amusement parks, public parks etc. Having done her Masters from CEPT University, Ahemdabad she started her career under the stewardship of late Prabhakar B. Bhagwat (PBB). Working with several industry leading landscape architecture practices, she has honed her expertise in design of planting spaces and developing locale specific specifications for execution. She is the Founder of Prop Roots Design Studio based out of Bangalore and Pune. Her professional skills include Landscape Architecture, Master planning and Environmental Planning with a keen eye for planting design. She has consultancy practice executing various projects across India. To name a few Flower Garden, Surat, Sammy’s Dreamland, Bangalore, Royal Wadhwani palms, Nagpur etc. She has been actively involved in academics as well by being a full time and visiting faculty in various esteemed Institutes like USAP, SPA New Delhi and Bharti Vidyapeeth deemed university, Pune where she conducted Design and Landscape design studios. She has been invited as a Jury to assess studio works for Masters students of CEPT Ahemdabad, SPA New Delhi and PIADS Nagpur. Also, for Undergraduate programs from USAP New Delhi, PIADS and SMMCA Nagpur. She has been invited as speaker for online VAC (Value added course) titled Interiorscaping - infusion of nature inside the building at AMITY University, Delhi. A lecture on “Management of natural resources for sustainable development” was given at SPA Bhopal for Students of Masters in Landscape Architecture. A case study presentation at ICOMOS India's Annual Scientific Symposium 2021: Cultural Landscapes - Transformations and Emerging Ideas was given by her. She has been a Fellow member of ISOLA (Indian Society Of Landscape Architects). She believes in sustainable practice and roots for the core strengths of the site while dealing with projects.
